Wellington Homeless Women’s Trust is a volunteer run charity dedicated to making a difference within our community by providing support and accommodation to homeless women in central Wellington, NZ.
These women are in vulnerable positions and have nowhere to call home. They come to us needing hands-on support and a safe environment to rebuild their lives. We provide our tenants with up to three months accommodation while they work towards personal independence in a supportive environment.
Homelessness is caused by many overwhelming issues, which is why Wellington Homeless Women’s Trust works in collaboration with many social services to provide the necessary support to the women who go through our three month programme. We do everything we can to equip each individual with the skills and opportunity needed to move into long-term housing, while maintaining a positive and sustainable lifestyle.
